Heikichi lived with God from the time he was ten until he was fourteen years old. During the New Year holiday of 1895, when Heikichi was thirteen years old, he returned home after being gone for a month. He brought with him a leather bag and a pair of lace shoes. Heikichi said, "These are for a boy who will be born next year."
Thirteen months later, on February 11, 1896, a boy was born as Heikichi predicted. His father was very happy and told Heikichi to ask God what to name the boy. Heikichi went into the barn where he had lived with God. When he came out he said, "God said the boy should be named Seiichi." So, according to God's instructions, the boy was named Seiichi. This is how the Founder Seiichi was born, as God had predicted.
